About Purdue Bros Ltd
Purdue Bros Ltd has a long history in Southland, dating back to 1947. Today the fleet is made up of eight crane trucks which are all Palfinger crane trucks. Purdue also has a contractor truck and a range of specialised equipment to transport over dimensional loads such as boats, buildings and more.
Purdue Bros Ltd has specialised equipment to enhance the cranes, making them capable of transporting 27-metre-long run iron with a trombone trailer or carrying out a 12-tonne lift. Other equipment includes a rear mounted knuckle boom crane, a man bucket with a reach of 30 metres, an auger, pallet fords, concrete bucket and more. We believe in having a fleet that enhances the productivity and options available to get the job done easily and promptly.
The team are incredibly experienced with all operators certified and Class 1 and Class 2 pilots available for any over-dimensional loads. The contractor truck has a certified and more importantly experienced operator, making deliveries hassle free. The team works throughout Southland and Otago, travelling as far north as Christchurch and previously to New Plymouth. Boats, buildings, planes; you name it, we’ve moved it.
